I'm not perfect, just forgiven

Numbers 5:11-31

BASIC SUMMARY: If a husband suspects that his wife is being unfaithful, he would bring his wife to the priest. The priest then presents her before the Lord and gets her to drink this bitter water. If she is innocent, the water will have no effect on her. But if she is guilty with adultery, the bitter water will cause her “abdomen to swell and her womb to shrivel,” basically meaning that she will no longer be able to have children.

I don’t know why I found this so interesting… I guess it’s another example of how even if no one was there to witness you commit a sin, there is nothing you can hide from the Lord… read it for yourself, it’s pretty cool! …or maybe it’s just me, haha. [Bible Journal #13]

About

And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. -- Romans 8:38, 39
